Here’s another favorite Christmas song of mine, starring the likes of Sting, Boy George, Duran Duran, Bananarama and numerous other singers and musicians. 😀 ❤

I’m so excited about tonight’s Donny & Marie Osmond Christmas concert! 😀 I know they probably won’t sing the following songs, but they’re still great and are helping me reminisce about my childhood. ❤
One of my many favorite D&M tunes.
My brother often sang me this song, which is from the Goin’ Coconuts film soundtrack.
This is still one of my favorite Christmas songs. 🙂 ❤

Happy Birthday to one of my favorite singers, Donny Osmond!
Ironically, a week from today, I’m seeing Donny and Marie perform live!
A little trivia: The Donny & Marie Show was my first television memory and Donny was my first celebrity crush. My very first concert was at age 13, when I saw Donny and Marie perform at the same venue where I’ll be seeing them perform Dec. 16th! In fact, my older brother (he and I basically have the same relationship Donny has with Marie…along with some witty banter) took me to this show and as I recall, Donny ran around the entire venue during the concert. My brother then told me to pull out my hand–which I did–and as Donny ran by us, he shook it. After this moment, I literally didn’t wash my right hand for the next three days! 😀
At the top of my bucket list is to meet these down-to-earth, talented siblings, who I’ve always felt a connection with and whose humor, and music have inspired me throughout my life. 🙂 ❤
After Tuesday’s presidential election, I felt disillusioned, shocked, sad and angry. The results were NOT what I had expected. I’m hoping by listening to Duran Duran–specifically this song–it will help me remain optimistic about our country’s future. 🙁 🙂
But nobody knows what’s gonna happen tomorrow
We try not to show how frightened we are
If you let me – I’ll protect you – however I can
You’ve got to believe it’ll be alright in the end
You’ve got to believe it’ll be alright again
This video is dedicated to my Soul Sister No. 1 and good friend, Luz M., whose birthday is today. We met as high school sophomores and instantly became friends when we found out that we loved the same music and bands! 😀 ❤ ♏
Enjoy and Happy Friday! 🙂

Happy Birthday to one of the most talented and nicest woman in show business: singer, actress, author and doll designer Marie Osmond! 🎂 😁 🎤
Enjoy and have a great weekend! 😀
