Someone whose voice and music I admired died on February 4th too, singer Karen Carpenter. π©π»π€π΅ She had such an amazing, angelic, yet haunting voice. This song is one of my favorites that she and her brother, Richard, recorded and in which Richard wroteβalong with songwriter John Bettis. π

I have loved The Carpenters music for as long as I can remember! Karen Carpenter had such an amazing, angelic voice and was considered to be one of the best female vocalists of all-time.

It wouldn’t be Christmas if I didn’t hear this song by The Carpenters. Just the other day, I was shopping and suddenly heard this song. Although, I wasn’t much in the Christmas spirit, hearing Karen Carpenter’s angelic voice always makes me feel better. ππ€π΅

Born On This Day: Karen Carpenter
Born on Mar. 2, 1950, Karen Carpenter was best known for being one half of the popular 1970’s singing duo The Carpenters, alongside her brother, Richard.
Sadly, Carpenter died on Feb. 4, 1983 due to emetine cardiotoxicity, due to anorexia nervosa. She was 32.
