Today I celebrate my birthday. It’s another day where I can say (again) just how grateful I am for the things in my life: my health, a roof over my head, food on the table and the support of my family.
By no means would I say that 2018 has been a great year. In fact, the last three years have been somewhat challenging for me, which I will discuss in a later post.
I pray God will watch over me, guide me and will answer my prayers as I celebrate this new year. 🙏🏽 ❤️ ♏🙂
“Every year on your birthday, you get a chance to start new.” Sammy Hagar
Remembering the people’s princess, Princess Diana, who would have celebrated her 57th birthday today. 👸🏼🌹
Remembering actor, singer and musician David Cassidy on what would have been his 68th birthday today. 🎵🎤🎸📺
I went to dinner with my parents, siblings and niece on Sunday, but today was all about me…or so I thought. I ended up having to run errands for my parents and brother, so I didn’t get much ME time today. I’m intending I can make up for it this weekend.
Happy Birthday to a smart (a UC Berkeley graduate, who majored in English), multifaceted (he can sing too; just listen to Barbra Streisand’s last, duet album) and good looking man (he’s easy on those mesmerizing, blue eyes)… Chris Pine. 🎭🎥😍
Happy Birthday to one of my favorite singers, Donny Osmond!
Ironically, a week from today, I’m seeing Donny and Marie perform live!
A little trivia: The Donny & Marie Show was my first television memory and Donny was my first celebrity crush. My very first concert was at age 13, when I saw Donny and Marie perform at the same venue where I’ll be seeing them perform Dec. 16th! In fact, my older brother (he and I basically have the same relationship Donny has with Marie…along with some witty banter) took me to this show and as I recall, Donny ran around the entire venue during the concert. My brother then told me to pull out my hand–which I did–and as Donny ran by us, he shook it. After this moment, I literally didn’t wash my right hand for the next three days! 😀
At the top of my bucket list is to meet these down-to-earth, talented siblings, who I’ve always felt a connection with and whose humor, and music have inspired me throughout my life. 🙂 ❤
Happy Birthday to one of my favorites: Actor Michael Vartan! 😀 ❤
