Another Trip Around the Sun

Today I celebrate my birthday. It’s another day where I can say (again) just how grateful I am for the things in my life: my health, a roof over my head, food on the table and the support of my family.

By no means would I say that 2018 has been a great year. In fact, the last three years have been somewhat challenging for me, which I will discuss in a later post.

I pray God will watch over me, guide me and will answer my prayers as I celebrate this new year.Β πŸ™πŸ½ ❀️ β™πŸ™‚

Happy Birthday To…

Me. πŸŽ‚πŸ™πŸ½πŸ˜ƒ

I went to dinner with my parents, siblings and niece on Sunday, but today was all about me…or so I thought. I ended up having to run errands for my parents and brother, so I didn’t get much ME time today. I’m intending I can make up for it this weekend.

Born On This Day: Donny Osmond

Happy Birthday to one of my favorite singers, Donny Osmond!

Ironically, a week from today, I’m seeing Donny and Marie perform live!

A little trivia: The Donny & Marie Show was my first television memory and Donny was my first celebrity crush. My very first concert was at age 13, when I saw Donny and Marie perform at the same venue where I’ll be seeing them perform Dec. 16th! In fact, my older brother (he and I basically have the same relationship Donny has with Marie…along with some witty banter) took me to this show and as I recall, Donny ran around the entire venue during the concert. My brother then told me to pull out my hand–which I did–and as Donny ran by us, he shook it. After this moment, I literally didn’t wash my right hand for the next three days! πŸ˜€

At the top of my bucket list is to meet these down-to-earth, talented siblings, who I’ve always felt a connection with and whose humor, and music have inspired me throughout my life. πŸ™‚ ❀

Happy Birthday To…

I celebrated my birthday by going out to lunch with my parents, siblings and niece/Goddaughter…one day early. My other niece and nephew–along with their spouses–couldn’t be there since they live out-of-town. The best and worst thing about having a birthday close to Thanksgiving is that there’s SO much food and dessert leftover! However, I’m grateful that I’ll be getting to spend more time with family and friends over the next few days. πŸ™‚

My 1st birthday wish: That my parents and brother remain healthy, as well as my other family members. My 2nd wish: Intending that I receive some positive news about possible career opportunities soon. My last wish: To remain healthy. πŸ˜€ ❀
