Today’s MCM honor goes to actor Jesse Bradford.
Bradford has starred in numerous films, including Flags of Our Fathers, Bring It On, Romeo+Juliet, Swimfan and Badge of Honor, which also stars Martin Sheen and Mena Suvari. Badge of Honor will be released in 2015.
He’s also appeared in several television shows, including NBC’s The West Wing and Guys With Kids.
Bradford has many other talents, including: playing one mean guitar, having great taste in music (according to his Instagram) and has a great first name. 😉

I just wanted to take a moment to wish you a very healthy and prosperous 2015…one filled with happiness and many blessings. 🙂 🎉

Remembering singer-songwriter, musician and actor Rick ‘Ricky’ Nelson, who died 29 years ago today in DeKalb, TX…along with his fiancé and band members from his Stone Canyon band.
The group was traveling to Dallas to perform at a New Year’s Eve concert when the plane they traveled in crashed. The cause of the crash was determined to be mechanical problems.
Here’s one of my favorite songs by Rick Nelson.

Actor Paul Rudd will reprise his role as Bobby Newport in the final season of Parks and Recreation. Rudd will appear in two episodes of the acclaimed NBC comedy before it ends its run in spring 2015.

Merry Christmas…Feliz Navidad…Mele Kalikimaka…Buon Natale…Joyeux Noël and Frohe Weihnachten! 🎄 🙂
In lieu of the Christmas holiday, I present the classic 1956 song “The Christmas Song,” which was originally sung by Nat King Cole and then remade in 1964 by actor/musician/singer-songwriter Rick Nelson for ‘The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet.’
By the way, the blond toddler in the video is Nelson’s one-year-old daughter, actress Tracy Nelson, who is being held by her mother, Kris Harmon.

I thought this was some interesting real estate news since I’m a fan of Hollywood history.
Actor Chris Meloni, best known for his television role on Law & Order: SVU, and his wife, production designer Sherman Williams, just purchased the former Ozzie & Harriet Nelson home in Hollywood for $5.25 million.
The home boasts a little bit of rock and roll history too since it is where the Nelson’s youngest son, Rick (“Ricky”), grew up…along with his older brother, David.
In honor of the Christmas holiday, here is Darlene Love singing “Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home).”
Love has been performing this classic song on Letterman since 1986. You can see her perform this song for the last time on Late Show with David Letterman on Dec. 19 on CBS.

I took my last final of the semester today, which means I am officially on vacation! YAY!!!! I’m looking forward to some much needed rest and relaxation for the next month. 🙂
Here’s what I will be singing during my time off (hence this post’s title…taken from this song). 😉
